Sidewalk Master Plan

MWM provided civil engineering services for the City of Austin’s Sidewalk Master Plan Update, aimed at improving construction and maintenance across the city’s 4,600-mile sidewalk network. As part of this effort, MWM prepared the Sidewalks Peer Cities Report by gathering data from seven cities to identify best practices for public right-of-way sidewalk management. Adopted by City Council in June 2016, the plan now guides sidewalk network improvements over the next decade.
