Rosewood-Zaragosa Specialty Clinic

Travis County Central Health transformed the historic Rosewood-Zaragosa health center into a modern specialty clinic offering a range of services including cardiology, gastroenterology, nephrology, neurology, podiatry, and pulmonology. A trusted resource for decades, the clinic continues to serve the East Austin community with expanded care options. 

MWM DesignGroup provided civil engineering, surveying, and permitting services for the renovation of approximately 15,000 square feet of interior space and associated site improvements. Scope included: 

• Fire line connection design with backflow preventer and vault to an existing water main on Webberville Road 

• Redesign of the existing parking lot and pedestrian entry path for ADA compliance 

• Coordination and approval of two Site Plan Exemptions (ADA work and fire line) to expedite permitting and construction 

• Preparation and approval of a Tap Plan for the fire line 

MWM’s work helped fast-track critical infrastructure updates, supporting improved access to healthcare for the surrounding community.
