McKalla Station is a new MetroRail stop located about 850 feet south of Braker Lane, adjacent to the Q2 Stadium. This station serves as a key transit option for stadium customers and the greater community as an expanded service for the MetroRail Red Line. The station features new rail platforms and queuing areas for large crowds, double-track rail, updated signal and positive train control systems, custom canopies, utilities, electrical service, pedestrian lighting, ticket vending machines, dynamic message signs, Wi-Fi, emergency phones, security cameras, trash and recycling bins, platform seating, and full ADA compliance.
