Holly Shores Town Lake Metro Park

As landscape architect consultant to the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department, MWM DesignGroup completed preliminary design, construction documentation, and provided construction administration for Phase 1 improvements at Festival Beach and Holly Shores Town Lake Metropolitan Park. The project covered multiple sites, including Festival Beach, Martin Pool, Degollado Pavilion, Edward Rendon/Camacho Community Center, Holly Power Plant, and Metz Park. Key features include a half-mile trail connecting to the Zilker Trail system, site accessibility upgrades, parking, new restrooms, picnic areas, 1,500 linear feet of sidewalks, curb ramps, crosswalks, shade canopies, a boathouse, overlooks, 2,500 linear feet of shared-use path, 500 linear feet of substation screen walls, landscaping, and irrigation.
